Product description
Foxglove 'Candy Mountain Mixed' produces an array of biennial flowers that bring colour to the garden in soft peach, pink, white, and yellow tones. With tall flower spikes reaching up to 1.4 metres, this variety adds vertical interest and cottage-garden charm to borders, woodland edges, and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. Each tubular flower is delicately speckled inside, attracting bees and other pollinators throughout the summer.
Sow Foxglove 'Candy Mountain' seeds from late spring to early summer, either indoors in trays or directly outdoors in prepared soil. If sowing indoors, use seed compost and lightly press the seeds onto the surface. They need light to germinate, so don’t cover them. Keep the compost moist and warm (around 18–21°C), and germination should occur within 2–3 weeks. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on until they’re ready to be planted out from September to October. They’ll fill your garden with colour from June to July the following year.
With its upward-facing blooms in gorgeous tones, Foxglove ‘Candy Mountain’ adds a unique twist to traditional Foxglove displays. Perfect for cottage gardens, wildlife-friendly borders, or shaded corners, it offers height, colour, and pollinator appeal, making it a popular choice among gardeners.
