Water Knautia regularly during its first few weeks to help it settle in, keeping the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Once established, it’s drought‑tolerant and only needs watering in prolonged dry spells, especially during peak summer growth.
How to Plant
Plant Knautia in a sunny spot with well‑drained soil, setting each plant at the same depth it was growing in its pot. Allow 30-40cm of space around it so the airy stems have room to develop, then water well after planting to help it establish.
