Product description
Tulip Snow Crystal is a magnificent double-fringed variety, meaning it boasts both the dense, multi-layered petals of a peony and the highly serrated, frosty edges of a fringed tulip, all in pure white. This combination creates an incredibly fluffy, intricate flower head that looks almost like a heavy snowball sitting on a stem.
Ensure the bulbs are planted in excellent drainage, as sitting in cold, wet winter soil is fatal to them. When it comes to care, extreme shelter is completely non-negotiable; the heavily layered, frayed petals act as a sponge for rainwater, and the heavy heads will immediately snap their stems if left exposed to spring downpours.
These bulbs are supplied at a size of 11-12.

Top Tip
A tip for Tulip Snow Crystal is to offer it significant shelter from the elements in your garden design. Because it features both double layers and heavily fringed edges, the white flower head traps rainwater and quickly becomes too heavy.
How to Water
When it comes to watering Tulip Snow Crystal, give the soil a single deep soak immediately after planting to establish the roots. After this initial drink, it requires no further irrigation unless the active spring growing season is unusually dry.
How to Plant
To properly plant Tulip Snow Crystal, wait until November and dig a hole roughly 15 cm deep in well-draining loam. Place the bulb firmly at the bottom with its pointed tip facing the sky before covering it back up.
