Product description
Tulip Menton is a legendary Single Late tulip that produces massive, goblet-shaped blooms in a warm, glowing shade of rose-pink edged with soft apricot-orange. Capable of reaching 65 cm tall, it is a dominant, structural plant that bridges the gap between late spring bulbs and early summer perennials.
Due to its impressive stature, you must plant these bulbs deeply to give the tall stems a solid anchor in the earth. If your garden is prone to high winds, stake the stems discreetly, and always allow the massive leaves to die back naturally after the magnificent flower finally fades.
These bulbs are supplied at a size of 11-12.

Top Tip
A tip for Tulip Menton is to provide it with discreet structural support using a bamboo cane or grow-through grid. Because its impressive stems can reach 65 cm tall, they are highly vulnerable to bending in exposed, windy gardens.
How to Water
When it comes to watering Tulip Menton, give the soil a single deep soak immediately after planting to establish the roots. After this initial drink, it requires no further irrigation unless the active spring growing season is unusually dry.
How to Plant
To properly plant Tulip Menton, wait until November and dig a hole roughly 15 cm deep in well-draining loam. Place the bulb firmly at the bottom with its pointed tip facing the sky before covering it back up.
