Lady Jane is an attractive Tulip variety with sophisticated, slender flowers from April to May. Each goblet-shaped bloom features bicoloured petals that are rose-pink with white margins on the outside and pure snow-white on the inside. This creates an elegant effect for an eye-catching floral display in beds, borders, and patio pots.
These 6+ sized bulbs are relatively simple to grow and care for. The ideal time to plant them is from September to October in pots or mid-October – December (after the first frost) in beds and borders. Choose a sheltered, sunny spot and dig a hole around 20cm deep in well-draining soil. Position the bulb in the hole and backfill with soil, gently firming down as you go, then water in well. Leave 10-15cm between bulbs to afford space for the roots to develop.
