Product description
Tulip Amazing Parrot is an exotic, flamboyant variety featuring deeply ruffled, twisted petals that look like tropical bird feathers in a fiery blend of pinks, oranges, and apricots. This late-spring bloomer provides a massive pop of eccentric texture and serves as a dramatic, attention-grabbing centerpiece in any border or container.
These bulbs should be planted in late autumn in perfectly draining soil to prevent winter rot. Due to the delicate, sail-like nature of the fringed petals, position them out of the path of strong spring gales, and snap off the fading bloom before it goes to seed so energy returns to the bulb for its summer dormancy.
These bulbs are supplied at a size of 11-12.

Instructions
Top Tip
A tip for Tulip Amazing Parrot is to position it safely away from exposed, windy borders. Doing this ensures the heavily ruffled, irregular petals are not shredded by harsh spring weather.
How to Water
When it comes to watering Tulip Amazing Parrot, give the soil a single deep soak immediately after planting to establish the roots. After this initial drink, it requires no further irrigation unless the active spring growing season is unusually dry.
How to Plant
To properly plant Tulip Amazing Parrot, wait until November and dig a hole roughly 15 cm deep in well-draining loam. Place the bulb firmly at the bottom with its pointed tip facing the sky before covering it back up.
