Product description
Stock ‘Virginian Mixed’ is a vibrant and fragrant annual that brings classic cottage-garden charm to borders, beds, and containers. With blooms in soft pinks, purples, whites and creams, this mix flowers from June right through into October, offering a long-lasting display and a sweet scent that’s perfect for cutting. Compact and bushy, it’s ideal for smaller spaces and loved by bees and butterflies.
Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil and scatter seeds directly into the flowering site between March and July, once the ground has warmed. Rake the seeds in to cover with a light layer of soil and water in well. Thin seedlings out as necessary as the plants grow.
Stock ‘Virginian Mix’ is easy to care for. Water regularly during dry spells, especially while plants are establishing, and deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers. These hardy annuals don’t need much fuss, just sun, space, and a bit of attention during dry weather. With the right conditions, they’ll reward you with tall, fragrant blooms from all season long.
