These Carrot 'Flakkee (Flak)' seeds produce large, deep orange roots with excellent flavour and impressive storage potential. This late-maturing variety is ideal for harvesting in autumn and storing through winter, making it a favourite for gardeners who want reliable, long-lasting crops. The robust roots grow well in heavier soils and are perfect for soups, stews, and roasting.
Sow seeds directly outdoors from April to July in well-prepared, stone-free soil. Space rows 30cm apart and thin seedlings to 5–10cm if required. Harvest from June to November, depending on sowing time.
