Product description

Cauliflower 'Boris F1' is a high-performing variety prized for its uniform, dense white curds and rapid maturity. Its compact plants are well suited to tighter growing spaces, making it ideal for home gardens. With strong disease resistance and excellent field-holding ability, 'Boris F1' delivers consistent results even in variable conditions.

Sow seeds indoors from January to May or September to October. Early sowings should be kept under glass until they are ready to move outside, while later sowings can be placed 2-3cm deep directly in seed beds. Seeds sown in autumn should be kept in a cold frame over winter. Gradually harden seedlings off before moving them outside from March to June. Transplant or thin seedlings to 45cm spacing in fertile, moisture-retentive soil. Harvest from June to October depending on sowing time.

Its short growing cycle makes it ideal for succession sowing, allowing multiple harvests throughout the season. 'Boris F1' also performs well under fleece or cloche protection, making it a smart choice for early or late cropping when conditions are less predictable.
