Product description
Tulip Salmon Impression is an absolute giant of the Darwin Hybrid family, producing absolutely enormous, broad-cupped flowers in a warm, glowing shade of soft salmon-pink. It is renowned not just for the sheer size of its blooms, but for its outstanding vigour and ability to withstand terrible spring weather.
As the flowers are so large, plant the bulbs slightly further apart than usual in rich, well-draining soil to give the massive heads room to open fully. It is one of the few hybrids that might return for a second year, provided you plant it deeply, deadhead it immediately, and feed the soil as the foliage dies back.
These bulbs are supplied at a size of 12+.

Top Tip
A tip for Tulip Salmon Impression is to space the bulbs a few extra centimeters further apart than standard tulips. This Darwin Hybrid produces an absolutely enormous flower that needs extra physical room to open fully without overlapping its neighbours.
How to Water
When it comes to watering Tulip Salmon Impression, give the soil a single deep soak immediately after planting to establish the roots. After this initial drink, it requires no further irrigation unless the active spring growing season is unusually dry.
How to Plant
To properly plant Tulip Salmon Impression, wait until November and dig a hole roughly 15 cm deep in well-draining loam. Place the bulb firmly at the bottom with its pointed tip facing the sky before covering it back up.
