Product description
Tulip Alison Bradley is a spectacular Double variety renowned for its deeply saturated, velvety magenta-purple blooms that closely resemble heavy peonies. Along with its rich, moody colouring, it offers a noticeable sweet fragrance, making it a highly sought-after choice for sensory gardens and striking cut floral arrangements.
To care for this bulb, plant it approximately 15 cm deep in a sunny, well-draining spot during November. Because the double flower heads become exceptionally heavy, especially after a rain shower, it requires a sheltered location to prevent the stems from snapping under the weight, and the foliage must be left entirely intact after flowering to recharge the bulb.
These bulbs are supplied at a size of 10-11.

Top Tip
A tip for the Tulip Alison Bradley is to plant it in a location sheltered from strong spring winds. This protection is necessary because its massive, peony-like flower head becomes extremely heavy and can easily snap the stem.
How to Water
When it comes to watering Tulip Alison Bradley, give the soil a single deep soak immediately after planting to establish the roots. After this initial drink, it requires no further irrigation unless the active spring growing season is unusually dry.
How to Plant
To properly plant Tulip Alison Bradley, wait until November and dig a hole roughly 15 cm deep in well-draining loam. Place the bulb firmly at the bottom with its pointed tip facing the sky before covering it back up.
