Product description

Ranunculus Snow White is a beautifully refreshing addition to the garden. The ivory white fully double blooms feature soft, layered petals that stand out clearly against the fresh green foliage, creating a light, uplifting display that works effortlessly in borders, containers and cutting patches. Their strong, straight stems make them ideal for arranging indoors, where the flowers hold their shape and brightness with ease.

To grow Ranunculus Snow White, choose a bright, sunny position and plant the corms claw side down, 5cm deep in well-drained soil. Water regularly as new growth appears, keeping the soil lightly moist, and feed occasionally to support strong stems and full blooms. Cooler spring temperatures help the buds develop well, while a little shelter from persistent rain keeps the delicate petals looking their finest once they open. As each corm produces multiple stems, the display builds steadily through May and June, creating a lively, uplifting show that bridges the seasons.

Instructions

Top Tip

Cutting Ranunculus flowers early in the morning helps them last longer in the vase and encourages the plant to produce more stems.

How to Water

Water Ranunculus regularly as the foliage begins to grow, keeping the soil lightly moist but never saturated, as the corms dislike sitting in heavy, wet ground. As the buds form and the flowers begin to open, steady moisture helps the stems stay strong and the blooms last longer, especially during warm or breezy weather.

How to Plant

Plant Ranunculus corms in well‑drained soil, placing them claw‑side down and covering them lightly so they sit just a few centimetres below the surface. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot where the soil can warm gently in spring, giving the corms the best start as they begin to grow.
