Product description
Ideal for filling patio pots or growing in beds and borders, these Ranunculus Pink bulbs produce delightful flowers that perfectly bridge the seasons between spring and summer. Flowering from May into June, these blooms boast masses of tightly packed petals, forming a bowl shape that emerges from rounded buds. They make excellent cut flowers and look spectacular either on their own or alongside other mixed pastel shades in a vase display.
Choose a sheltered spot and plant Rununculus bulbs in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Dig a hole around 6-8cm deep and place the bulbs inside with the claws facing downwards. Backfill the hole with soil and firm down gently before watering well. Allow around 8cm between bulbs. Corms grown in pots may need to be moved indoors or given additional winter protection to prevent frost damage. Deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering but leave the foliage in place to die back naturally, providing nutrition to encourage healthy new growth the following year.
Bulb size: 5-6.
