Product description

These Boy O Boy French Marigold mixed flower seeds produce an eye-catching show of bright yellow, orange, and mahogany flowers from June through to October. This variety has a compact, bushy growing habit with deeply divided foliage complementing the flowers beautifully. The long-lasting blooms are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.

Sow Marigold seeds in pots or trays from February to April and keep in a propagator or warm place at 21-25C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into pots and gradually harden them off. Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining soil and plant the seedlings out, leaving 30cm between plants. Water Marigolds routinely, particularly during dry spells but ensure the soil never becomes waterlogged. Remove spent blooms regularly to keep the plant looking its best and prolong the flowering period.
