Product description
Better known as Shasta Daisy, Leucanthemum Snowcap is a compact and cheerful perennial that brings a burst of bright, classic charm to any garden. Its crisp white petals and sunny yellow centres sit neatly above tidy green foliage, creating a clean, uplifting display throughout the summer months. With its naturally compact habit, it fits beautifully into borders, beds, and patio containers, adding structure and brightness without overwhelming surrounding plants.
Hardy, reliable, and wonderfully easy to grow, Snowcap settles quickly into sunny spots and rewards you with a long season of daisy-like blooms that act as a magnet for bees and butterflies. Regular deadheading will keep new blooms coming throughout the summer, helping the plant stay tidy and productive. A light trim after flowering helps maintain its compact shape and encourages fresh, healthy growth for the following season.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Leaving some of the spent stems on your Shasta Daisy over winter can be surprisingly beneficial. They offer shelter for small wildlife during the colder months and help protect the plant’s crown from frost, giving it a stronger start when growth returns in spring.
How to Water
Once established, Leucanthemum only needs watering during prolonged dry spells, as it prefers soil that isn’t constantly wet. Give it a thorough soak rather than frequent light watering, allowing the soil to dry out between each drink to keep the plant healthy and flowering well.
How to Plant
Plant Leucanthemum in a sunny spot with well‑drained soil, spacing each plant around 30-40cm apart so it has room to form its natural, compact mound. Set it at the same depth it was growing in its pot, firm the soil gently around the roots, and water well to help it establish.
