Product description

Foxglove 'Apricot' is a stunning biennial that brings soft, peachy-apricot tones to the garden, offering a gentle twist on the classic spire-shaped blooms. With tall flower spikes reaching up to 1.2 metres, this variety adds vertical interest and cottage-garden charm to borders, woodland edges, and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. Each tubular flower is delicately speckled inside, attracting bees and other pollinators throughout the summer.

Sow seeds indoors or directly outdoors from March to June or August to September. Thin seedlings out to around 5cm as they grow and plant out indoor-sown seedlings from September to October, leaving around 30cm between plants. Foxgloves will establish in their first year and flower beautifully in the second. They prefer partial shade and moist, well-drained soil, making them ideal for naturalistic or shaded garden areas. Once flowering is complete, allow seed heads to mature for self-seeding and future displays.

Whether you're designing a pastel-themed border or looking to support pollinators, Foxglove 'Apricot' offers elegance, height, and seasonal impact. Its soft colouring and classic form make it a standout choice for gardeners seeking something both traditional and subtly unique.
