Characteristics: This variety of Fargesia has arching, yellow-green canes that grow to a great height. This bamboo plant will also produce masses of bright green leaves that will remain throughout the calendar year, due to the plants evergreen nature. It will add an exotic touch to any garden, making it a must-have for those warm, Summer months.
Garden Uses: This Fargesia can be used as a screening or hedging plant, as well as being a useful addition to containers or garden borders. Planting it in a shaded area is best for the plant, whilst it can also deal with small bursts of sunlight.
Plant Advice: Before planting, be sure to add some well-rooted manure or garden compost, to allow the plant to have the best possible start in your garden. Water regularly and make sure that the plant does not dry out. This should also be done in Winter as its light foliage is prone to wind scorch.
