Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Height & Spread: Grows to around 0.5m tall, spreads to roughly 1m wide
Period of Interest: Year-round interest. Fragrant silver-white felted foliage. Mid-Summer brings slender stems bearing small, aromatic yellow flowers.
Plant Advice: Plant in well-drained soil. Grows well in full sun even in hot drought conditions.
Santolina chamaecyparissus is a delightful dwarf evergreen shrub with narrow dissected leaves that have a pleasant fragrance, the leaves are green but with a silvery hue and a woolly appearance. The buds of this variety develop distinctive bright yellow button-like flower heads that grow on long stalks, the heads themselves are around 2cm wide and when bunched together they give quite a pleasant contrast with the foliage.
This variety prefers plenty of sunlight, so plant in an area that is more exposed than shaded, it is also tolerant of most soils, but grows best in moist soil that provides plenty of drainage.

Lovely Healthy Plant
I ordered this plant after seeing it on Gardeners World. It is also known as Cotton Lavender although it technically isn't Lavender. I purchased it because it smells of fresh linen, hence the name. As always, I was not disappointed when it arrived. It was well packed, very healthy with a well developed root system. I potted it on when it arrived . It is currently inside and doing very well. It will be moved outside to the garden when the weather improves. Again I cannot recommend Gardeners Dream more highly. I have always received healthy plants at a very competitive price not forgetting Free P&P.
