Product description

Salvia, commonly known as Pink Sage, is a delightful perennial that adds a splash of soft pink to garden borders and containers. Its aromatic foliage and upright flower spikes create an elegant display, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

This hardy plant flourishes in well-drained soil and prefers a sunny to partially shaded position. Its summer blooming period enhances the garden's color palette during the warmer months, making it a valuable addition to any outdoor space.

Ideal for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance yet visually appealing plant, Pink Sage's compact growth habit makes it suitable for various garden settings, including city and courtyard gardens, cottage gardens, and Mediterranean-style landscapes.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage new blooms and extend the flowering season.

How to Water

Water Salvia deeply when the soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure the soil is well-drained to prevent waterlogging. Once established, Salvia is drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional watering during hot, dry periods.

How to Plant

Plant Salvia in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and position the plant. Fill in the hole with soil and water well. Space plants 30-45cm apart, depending on the variety.
