Product description

Pumpkin 'Fireball F1' is a compact, high-yielding variety that delivers vibrant fruits perfect for carving, cooking, and seasonal displays. Each pumpkin is beautifully round, smooth-skinned, 20-25cm in diameter, and typically weighs around 3-3.5kg, making them ideal for small gardens, patios, or raised beds. Its uniform size and bright yellow stripes make it a favourite for Halloween decorations and hearty autumn recipes.

Sow seeds indoors from April to May or directly outdoors from May to June, once the soil has warmed. Plant indoor-sown seedlings out from late May when the risk of frost has passed, placing 2 or 3 seeds in each position. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil and space plants 60cm apart. Outdoor seedlings should be thinned to one plant per station as they develop and grow. Water regularly during dry spells and feed as fruits begin to swell for best results. Harvest from September to October when the skin is firm and fully coloured.

With strong disease resistance and reliable performance, 'Fireball F1' is a brilliant choice for gardeners seeking compact plants with bold seasonal impact. Whether you're growing for fun, flavour, or festive flair, this tasty, unusual pumpkin is a standout addition to any vegetable patch.
