Product description

Neighbours and passers-by are sure to look twice at Pink Sunrise. While Muscari, or Grape Hyacinths as they’re more commonly known, usually come in a familiar shade of blue, this stunning variety boasts conical flowers clusters in the softest shade of pastel pink. The blooms open out from white buds and are adored by bees, butterflies, and other welcome pollinators, turning your garden into a buzzing hive of activity. Muscari Pink Sunrise is perfect for container gardening, growing well in patio pots as well as beds and borders.

Plant Muscari bulbs around 10cm deep, allowing around 5cm between bulbs. They flourish in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, moist but well-draining soil. As perennials, these flower bulbs come back year after year, and it is best to leave the foliage to die back naturally to provide plenty of nutrients for the following year’s fresh new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Plant Muscari bulbs in clusters for a dense, vibrant display, and leave foliage to die back naturally for better blooms next year.

How to Water

Water after planting to help bulbs establish. During active growth in spring, keep the soil evenly moist but avoid waterlogging. Reduce watering once the foliage begins to yellow and the plant enters dormancy.

How to Plant

Plant Muscari bulbs in well-draining soil during autumn. Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot, and plant bulbs 5-8cm deep with the pointed side up, spacing them 5cm apart. Cover with soil, press gently, and water thoroughly to settle the soil.
