Product description

Our Easy-Care Vibrant House Plant Bundle is exactly what you’d expect from its name. Comprising 3 low maintenance indoor plants, this undemanding collection provides plenty of texture and colour interest for any room in the home or office.

Jade Plants are also known by the botanical name Crassula Ovata and are bushy succulent house plants with thick, fleshy green leaves. The edges of the leaves may turn red in full sun and mature plants can flower during the summer months. Growing to an eventual height of 30-60cm, the Jade Plant’s forgiving nature makes it a must-have for any new plant parent.

With leaves resembling the skin of its namesake fruit, the Watermelon Peperomia is one of those plants that looks like it belongs anywhere. Indeed, it is just as attractive on an office desk as it is on a living room sideboard. Pale green leaves are striped with a darker shade of green, producing a distinct appearance that isn’t overbearing. Watermelon Peperomias grow to an ultimate height of up to 30cm and are the perfect addition to any house plant collection.

Purple Shamrock is a distinctive plant boasting triangular leaves in a vivid shade of purple. Delicate pink flowers bloom on mature plants intermittently throughout the year, creating a charming appearance that really catches the eye. This plant eventually reaches up to 30cm tall and makes an excellent focal point.

Whether you choose to display your new plants together or separately, they don’t need a huge amount of attention to flourish. Place the Jade Plant in full sun with the Watermelon Peperomia and Purple Shamrock in indirect light or partial shade. Water the latter 2 weekly, when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry and reduce watering during the autumn and winter months when the plant isn’t growing. As a succulent, Crassula Ovata prefers drier soil and only needs to be watered around once a month, when the soil has fully dried out.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Keep these plants unexposed to draughts, heat sources, and sudden changes of temperature.

How to Water

Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. During the growing season, this is typically once a week, but always adjust based on the environment. Reduce watering in the winter months when growth slows. Ensure excess water drains away to prevent root rot, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered or rainwater to avoid mineral build-up on the plant’s leaves.

How to Plant

To plant your Indoor Plant Mix, choose pots with good drainage holes and use a quality houseplant compost. Gently remove each plant from its nursery pot and loosen the roots if they appear compacted. Position each plant at the same depth as in its original pot, filling around it with soil and firming gently. Place the pots in a bright location with indirect sunlight, avoiding direct exposure to prevent leaf scorching. Water lightly after planting to settle the soil.
