Product description

Crocus Jeanne d’Arc brings a bright, uplifting touch to the garden with its pure white, goblet shaped blooms, each marked with a soft hint of purple at the base. Flowering in the earliest weeks of spring, this elegant Crocus adds freshness to borders, beds, and containers, opening wide in sunshine to welcome the first pollinators and signal the start of the new season. Its clean, crisp colour stands out beautifully against emerging foliage, creating natural drifts of light across the garden.

These bulbs are easy to grow and thrive in well drained soil and a sunny or lightly shaded position. Plant them in autumn at a depth around three times the height of each bulb and space them 7-10cm apart to allow room for healthy clump formation. Once established, they return reliably each year with minimal care, gradually multiplying to create a fuller display. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for the following season, ensuring a dependable, bright, early spring show.

These bulbs are supplied at a size of 7/8.

Top Tip

Plant Crocus in generous groups rather than single bulbs, as they always make more impact when they flower together. Clusters and natural drifts create a brighter, more cohesive display that lifts the whole garden in early spring.

How to Water

Water the bulbs lightly after planting to help settle the soil, then leave them to establish over winter without additional moisture. In spring, they only need occasional watering during prolonged dry spells, as Crocus prefer conditions that stay on the drier side.

How to Plant

Plant Crocus bulbs in autumn at a depth around three times their height, setting them into well‑drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Tuck them into small groups or naturalistic drifts so they settle in well and create a bright, early‑spring display.
