Give your seeds the best start

Product description

These Broccoli ‘Sprouting Burbank' F1 seeds deliver a high-yielding, fast-growing crop of tender white spears with excellent flavour and uniformity. This hybrid variety is bred for reliability and vigour, producing multiple side shoots after the main head is harvested, perfect for extended picking and repeat harvests. Ideal for stir-fries, steaming, or eating raw straight from the garden.

Sow seeds indoors from February to April or directly outdoors from April to May. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle (around 15cm tall), and gradually harden before planting out, spacing plants around 60cm apart. Harvest from February to April the following year.

Grow in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive soil. Water regularly and feed with a balanced fertiliser to support steady growth. For best results, cut the central head first to encourage a flush of side shoots.
