Syringa 'Palibin' are elegant, slow-growing deciduous ornamental trees. Also known as the Lilac Palibin, this bushy tree will produce broadly-ovate, dark green leaves accompanied by upright panicles of four-lobed, scented, pink and purple flowers during their flourishing season. Trained into a hardy ‘lollipop’ single stem, this Syringa tree is perfect to grow in flower borders, small gardens & patios.
The 'Lilac Palibin' tree will thrive in rich well-drained and moist soils. Be sure to plant in a full sun area with a little shelter to help during the Winter season. After planting, it is advised to water regularly, giving the tree time to settle in its new envionment. As the second half of the year occurs, reduce watering.
Syringa plants are known for their hardy and bushy structure, resulting in them being a fairly low maintenance plant to monitor and care for. Lilac trees don't need regular pruning - the occasional trim here and there won’t do much damage, just to help keep their shape. Prune away any dead or weak branches as this will encourage fresh, healthy shoots and improve flowering for the following season.
Syringa meyeri trees are valued all year round for their stunning display of vibrant coloured leaves and foliage. Emerging in Spring with maturing shades green with little hints of pink, giving it a fresh look for you garden. As the tree progresses through the Summer months, beautiful pink and purple flowers will begin to dominate the tree - making it a very eye-catching feature for any garden. Due to being deciduous, the tree will lose its leaves coming into its dormant stage through Winter.
Syringa meyeri 'Palibin' is a stunning ornamental tree that has gorgeous pale pink and purple flowers with hints of green around, which grows on a unique 'lollipop' straight standard stem. These deciduous trees are fairly low maintenance and only require light pruning to remove any dead or damaged branches. Once planted, they will require regular watering through the Spring/Summer season.
Native to South-eastern Europe, the Syringa species are part of the flowering plants in the olive (Oleaceae) family. These trees are ideal to position in small gardens, patios, borders, mixed containers or next to ponds and pathways. Due to being a deciduous tree, they will lose their leaves as the dormant stage appears.
