The Weigela ‘Magical Rainbow’ is a more compact plant with widely ovate green leaves with cream-yellow margins from Spring which gain touches of pink as it progresses into Summer. Clusters of dark pink buds appear all through the foliage and bloom into trumpet-shaped light pink flowers from late Spring through to Summer. A great option for patio pots or garden borders.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Tolerates full shade but this may impact growth and flowering. Once established, prune every year after flowering to encourage fresh, healthy growth.

How to Water
Water weigela plants deeply, especially during dry periods, to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Once established, they are somewhat drought-tolerant. Water at the base and avoid wetting the leaves, which can cause fungal diseases.
How to Plant
Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture. Space plants 90-120cm apart.
