Product description

Viola Rose Pink produces attractive multi-toned flowers in shades of purple-pink and white, creating a colourful display above fresh green foliage. The compact plants have a neat, bushy habit that works well in containers, borders, and bedding areas. Flowering from autumn through spring, this 6-pack provides colour across a long stretch of the year and is particularly useful for extending seasonal displays.

Choose a sunny or partially shaded position and use good-quality, free-draining compost when planting in containers. Keep the soil evenly moist, particularly while the plants are settling in, but avoid allowing it to become waterlogged. Regularly removing faded blooms encourages the plants to produce more flowers, while any untidy or damaged foliage can be trimmed away as needed. This simple care routine will help keep the plants neat and encourage plenty of fresh blooms for a long-lasting splash of colour.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

After periods of heavy rain, gently shake Violas in their basket to help remove excess water that may collect among the leaves and flowers. This simple step helps prevent the display from becoming flattened and allows the plants to dry naturally, keeping the basket looking fresh.

How to Water

Water Violas regularly to keep the compost lightly moist, as baskets can dry out more quickly than plants grown in the ground. Pay particular attention during warmer weather and water thoroughly when the surface of the compost feels dry, while avoiding leaving the plants sitting in excess moisture.

How to Plant

When planting Violas in baskets, arrange the plants around the edge as well as through the centre to help create a full, cascading display as they grow. Use a good quality compost with good drainage, gently firm the plants in place, and water thoroughly after planting to help them settle into their new container.
