Product description

This colourful pack of six Viola plants will provide an abundance of colour to your garden and, on top of that, be easy to care for throughout the year. Blooming throughout the Summer months, before doing so again in the Autumn period, these plants will take minimal time to start flourishing once they're planted. They can be planted in flower beds, borders, pots or garden containers, therefore providing plenty of options for placement within the garden, as well as catching the eye of neighbours, visitors or passers-by. Regular watering should be carried out and a feed every 4-6 weeks is also required.

When planting these gorgeous Violas, moist, well-drained soil should be present, as well as good exposure to full sunlight when possible. When watering the plant, you should do so regularly, as that is recommended. Overwatering the plant will have harmful effects on the Violas, so please avoid this.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead faded flowers frequently to encourage more blooms and keep the display looking fresh. Violas are perfect for spring and autumn bedding, providing long-lasting colour and pairing well with primroses, pansies, and other cool-season favourites.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during dry weather or in containers. Violas thrive in cooler conditions and dislike drying out, but good drainage is essential to avoid root issues in wet conditions.

How to Plant

Plant Viola bedding plants in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. These compact and free-flowering plants are ideal for borders, containers, and seasonal displays. Space plants 15–20cm apart to create a dense, colourful carpet of blooms.
