Product description
This six pack of Salvia Vista Mixed bedding plants infuses colour contrast very well with its dark green foliage and bright mix in various shades, an exceptional performer for lavish garden displays. This is an erect, bushy annual with excellent branching qualities and ovate leaves. Striking dense spikes of flowers with bracts of the same colour grow out of the compact mounds and form a striking accent when massed together as bedding plants or lined up in a row as edging plants. It is wonderfully heat tolerant and flowers from late spring right into early autumn.
Plant in loamy, well-drained soil and in full sun or part-shade. Feed plants regularly with a balanced fertiliser. To improve their looks and encourage better flowering, deadhead the plant by pinching off the flower spikes with spent blooms.

Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead spent flower spikes to encourage repeat blooming and keep the display tidy. Salvias attract bees and butterflies, making them a great choice for pollinator-friendly planting schemes and vibrant summer bedding displays.
How to Water
Water regularly while establishing, then reduce frequency once settled. Salvias are relatively drought-tolerant but will perform best with consistent moisture during dry periods. Avoid overwatering and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
How to Plant
Plant Salvia bedding plants in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in a sunny, sheltered position. These upright, bushy plants are ideal for borders, beds, and containers, producing bold spikes of colour that add height and structure. Space plants 20–30cm apart to allow for airflow and full growth.
