Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Nasturtiums attract pollinators, making them great for companion planting. Deadhead faded blooms to extend flowering and keep the plant looking tidy. They’ll continue to thrive with just occasional care and regular sun exposure.
How to Water
Water nasturtiums regularly during hot, dry periods, especially in containers. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to avoid encouraging too much leafy growth at the expense of flowers. Once established, they are quite drought-tolerant.
How to Plant
Position nasturtiums in full sun and well-drained soil. They perform best in poorer soils where they produce more flowers than foliage. Ideal for trailing from pots, beds, or walls, they require little fuss and quickly establish with minimal care.
