Our Indoor Oasis House Plant Bundle comprises a Spineless Yucca alongside an Areca Palm. Each house plant complements the other beautifully, creating a striking oasis of greenery in any room.
The upright growing Spineless Yucca boasts a textured brown trunk bearing long, leathery, sword-like mid-green leaves. Reaching an eventual height of 150-180cm, mature plants may produce flower spikes of creamy-white blooms.
Likewise, the Areca Palm, or Butterfly Palm as it’s also known, makes an excellent focal point with its lush bright green foliage. Tall stems give way to large, feathery fronds that arch outwards, creating a dramatic, eye-catching look. Areca Palms can reach over 1.5m tall and are perfect for placing in sunny corners.
Whether you choose to display your new house plants together or separately, they don’t need a huge amount of attention to flourish. Place each plant in bright, indirect light, taking care to avoid a position where strong sunlight can cause leaf scorch. Water weekly, when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry and reduce watering during the autumn and winter months when the plant isn’t growing. 6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.

Rotate Yuccas and Areca Palms regularly to encourage even growth and help prevent the plants from leaning towards the light source.
How to Water
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. During the growing season, this is typically once a week, but always adjust based on the environment. Reduce watering in the winter months when growth slows. Ensure excess water drains away to prevent root rot, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered or rainwater to avoid mineral build-up on the plant’s leaves.
How to Plant
To plant your Indoor Plant Mix, choose pots with good drainage holes and use a quality houseplant compost. Gently remove each plant from its nursery pot and loosen the roots if they appear compacted. Position each plant at the same depth as in its original pot, filling around it with soil and firming gently. Place the pots in a bright location with indirect sunlight, avoiding direct exposure to prevent leaf scorching. Water lightly after planting to settle the soil.
