Product description
The Hoya Kerrii Double Heart, often known as the Sweetheart Hoya, is a charming succulent houseplant featuring two thick, heart-shaped leaves. Unlike the standard single-leaf cutting, this variety arrives with a pair of hearts, offering double the character and making it a perfect romantic accent for even the smallest spaces in your home.
Place your Hoya Kerrii in a spot where it will receive plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. These plants are incredibly drought-tolerant thanks to their fleshy, water-storing leaves, so allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. A simple check is to look at the leaves: if they are plump and firm, the plant is fine; if they look slightly wrinkled or soft, it is time to water.
The compact nature of this plant makes it ideal for smaller homes and apartments. It looks fabulous perched on a living room shelf, bedside table, or bathroom windowsill. It is also an excellent choice for a desk plant, adding a touch of greenery to your workspace without taking up valuable room.
It is quite common to give your houseplants a name, so do not hesitate to choose one that suits its personality! Whether you choose something romantic to match the heart shape or just the first word that pops into your head, giving your Hoya a name helps welcome it into the family.
House Plant Size Guide

House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.

Top Tip
Hoya Kerrii is a slow grower that prefers to be left undisturbed, so avoid moving it once you have found a happy spot with bright light. Unlike many other plants, it actually prefers to be slightly root-bound (tight in its pot), so do not rush to repot it into a larger container.
How to Water
Water the Hoya Kerrii Double Heart sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Due to the thick, heart-shaped leaves store water, it is better to be cautious; if the leaves feel firm, skip watering, but if they feel slightly soft or wrinkled, it is time for a drink.
How to Plant
To plant your Hoya Kerrii Double Heart, select a small pot with excellent drainage holes to prevent root rot. Use a light, airy potting mix, such as a specialist cactus and succulent blend with plenty of perlite or orchid bark. Position the plant so the base of the stem sits at the same level as it did in its nursery pot. Place the pot in a location with bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant green colour.
