Product description
Hebe rakaiensis is an evergreen shrub that brings a selection of small, bright green leaves that form on the bushy habit shrub to great effect. The area of the garden it is placed in will also gain gorgeous white flowers in the Summer months, which easily completes the stunning look that this plant possesses. Planting this Hebe in moist, well-drained soil is recommended, whilst keeping it exposed to full sunlight most of the time will satisfy the plants needs. Watering can be done on a low maintenance level, except for in very dry conditions.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Prune lightly after flowering to encourage bushy growth and maintain the plant’s shape. Avoid heavy pruning, as Hebes may struggle to regrow from older wood.
How to Water
Water Hebe thoroughly after planting, then keep the soil evenly moist during the first season. Once established, they are drought-tolerant and require only occasional watering during dry periods.
How to Plant
Plant Hebe in well-draining soil in a sunny or lightly shaded spot, sheltered from strong winds. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, place the plant at the same depth it was in its pot, and backfill with soil. Space plants 60-90cm apart for full growth.
