Product description

Geranium 'Blushing Turtle' PBR is a vigorous, mound-forming to spreading herbaceous perennial that brings a touch of elegance to gardens with its finely divided, mid-green leaves. From June to September, it produces an abundance of pink flowers with darker pink veins, making it an excellent choice for borders, beds, and containers. Its impressive floral display and lush foliage add both colour and structure to outdoor spaces.

Thriving in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil under sun or partial shade, Geranium 'Blushing Turtle' is well-suited for UK gardens. Blooming from June through September, it complements other summer-flowering plants, enhancing the seasonal palette. This hardy perennial is also tolerant of various soil types, making it a low-maintenance addition to various garden settings.

Ideal for gardeners seeking long-lasting summer colour, Geranium 'Blushing Turtle' can be grown in patio pots or directly in garden beds. The vibrant pink flowers are not only visually appealing but also attract pollinators, supporting local biodiversity. Additionally, the blooms make excellent cut flowers, allowing you to bring their beauty indoors.

Instructions

Top Tip

To encourage more blooms, regularly deadhead spent flowers and trim leggy growth.

How to Water

Water Geraniums when the top inch of soil feels dry. They prefer deep, less frequent watering over shallow, frequent watering. Ensure the soil drains well to prevent root rot. Avoid wetting the foliage.

How to Plant

Plant Geraniums in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and fill with soil. Space plants 30-45cm apart to allow for airflow. Water thoroughly after planting.
