Product description
Sharing the exact same rugged genetics as its yellow sibling, Delosperma Jewel of Desert Rosequarts is a drought-proof succulent that acts as an indestructible, low-growing groundcover. Instead of yellow, it produces a relentless display of highly saturated, aggressive magenta-pink blooms that open wide to absorb maximum sunlight, sitting flush against its grey-green, fleshy leaves.
To keep it alive, you must entirely ignore it with the garden hose and wedge it into the hottest, driest crevice you can find, as it thrives in poor, stony dirt that drains immediately. Ensure it is planted at the absolute front of the border so taller, leafy neighbours do not cast lethal shadows over its sun-worshipping centre.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Plant Delosperma Jewel of Desert Rosequarts alongside highly reflective gravel or white stones to bounce maximum heat and light back up into the magenta blooms.
How to Water
Treat Delosperma Jewel of Desert Rosequarts mean to keep it keen by entirely ignoring it with the garden hose once rooted. It stores all the hydration it needs inside its fleshy leaves and actively despises sitting in damp earth. Only intervene with a light watering if the foliage looks physically distressed and wrinkled after weeks of zero rain.
How to Plant
Plant Delosperma Jewel of Desert Rosequarts in pure grit or sandy dirt where water drains away instantly. Ensure the succulent crown sits perfectly level with or slightly above the soil line to keep it physically dry. Keep it at the absolute front of the border so it is never shaded out by taller, leafy neighbours.
