Product description
This six pack of Dahlia Figaro Mixed bedding plants will create a burst of summer colours with this mixture of classic, dwarf dahlias. These fast growing plants with a compact, bushy, upright habit produce dazzling double blooms in an array of colours. They are wonderful long-flowering plants which will bloom from June all the way through to October, ideal for creating beautiful, long-lasting displays. Dahlias are usually grown as annuals but are in fact tender perennials, forming a tuber under the earth that can be lifted in autumn, stored and planted again the following Spring. All dahlia flowers and tubers are edible, the flavour and textures varying depending in which conditions they were grown.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil in a good location with plenty of exposure to full sunlight. Regular watering and cutting flowers from this plant will improve performance. These plants have a dwarf growing habit; however, pinching out the growing tips in early summer will help it develop a bushier plant.
Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms and keep displays looking fresh. Dahlia bedding plants offer vibrant colour with minimal effort—feed every two weeks with a high-potash fertiliser to promote continuous flowering throughout the season.
How to Water
Water regularly, especially during dry periods or while the plants are establishing. Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Container-grown dahlias may need daily watering in summer, particularly during hot weather or if positioned in full sun.
How to Plant
Plant Dahlia bedding plants in rich, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. These bushy, compact varieties are ideal for beds, borders, and containers. Space plants 20–30cm apart to allow for airflow and a well-rounded shape as they fill out.
