Dahlia Dalina Maxi Lopez is a charming flowering perennial that suits almost any outdoor space. From spring, these elegant Dahlia plants boast lush, toothed, dark green foliage, forming the perfect backdrop for the fully double pure white flowers that emerge in midsummer. Reaching an eventual height of up to 50cm, these stunning flowers bloom all the way through to autumn and are a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Grow Dahlias in flower beds, borders, or pots in a sheltered, sunny spot in moist but well-draining soil. Water regularly during particularly dry spells and deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers to appear. Dahlia plants need to be cut back to ground level in autumn. For the best show of flowers the following year, lift the Dahlia tubers from the ground and store them away over winter, ready to be planted again in spring.
