Product description
The Curcuma Splash, also known as the Siam Tulip, is a bright and eye catching plant that brings a fresh burst of colour into the home. Its upright flowers sit above lush, sword-shaped green leaves, creating a tidy and modern display that works well on shelves, tables or windowsills. The tulip-shaped bracts give the plant a distinctive look, making it a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys something a little different. Presented in a ceramic pot, this Siam Tulip arrives ready to display and makes a thoughtful gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays, or simply as a cheerful surprise.
The Siam Tulip grows best in bright, indirect light and prefers soil that stays lightly moist without becoming waterlogged. Regular watering during the warmer months helps support healthy growth, while allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly between drinks keeps the roots in good condition. A warm, steady room temperature suits it well, and removing any faded bracts keeps the plant looking clean. After flowering, Curcuma Splash naturally enters a resting phase, ready to return with fresh growth, making this a gift that keeps on giving well beyond the first impression.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a ceramic pot.
House Plant Size Guide

House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.

Top Tip
If the plant finishes flowering, keep caring for it as normal - Curcuma often produces new growth later in the season.
How to Water
The Siam Tulip prefers soil that stays lightly moist, so water it when the top layer begins to dry out. Pour slowly and allow any excess to drain away, keeping the plant out of standing water to protect the roots.
How to Plant
Choose a pot that drains well and a soil mix that stays light and open, as this helps prevent the roots from sitting in heavy moisture. Place the Curcuma plant so the stems sit just above the surface of the compost, then add fresh mix around the sides, keeping it loose so air can move through easily. After settling the Siam Tulip into its new pot, give the soil a gentle watering to help everything bed in.
