Product description
Creeping Rosemary is a versatile culinary herb cultivated primarily for the intense, resinous flavour found in its dense, needle-like foliage. This powerful taste, which carries distinct notes of pine, camphor, and woodsmoke, is released instantly when the leaves are crushed or chopped. It is traditionally used to season rustic dishes, particularly roast lamb, crispy potatoes, and savoury breads like focaccia, where its oils infuse deeply during cooking.
This plant is typically grown as a sprawling, evergreen ground cover or as a cascading "spiller" plant that tumbles beautifully over retaining walls, rockeries, and the edges of hanging baskets. It is generally hardy, though it requires excellent drainage to survive wet winters. For the best results and a profusion of pale blue flowers, plant it in a location with full sun. It is highly drought-tolerant once established and demands sharp, free-draining soil, as it will rot quickly if kept in damp conditions.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Creeping Rosemary is the perfect solution for "softening" hard landscaping. Plant it at the top of a stone wall or the edge of a raised bed and allow it to cascade down; this not only looks beautiful but keeps the foliage dry and healthy by improving air circulation.
How to Water
Water Creeping Rosemary sparingly. While young plants need regular watering to establish, mature plants are incredibly drought-resistant. Always allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as this plant hates having wet roots.
How to Plant
Plant Creeping Rosemary in a hot, sunny spot with gritty, fast-draining soil. It is an excellent choice for rock gardens or terracotta pots. If your soil is heavy, mix in plenty of horticultural grit or gravel to ensure water drains away rapidly.
