Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Loosestrife responds well to a light pinch at the tips while it’s still young, which encourages branching and creates fuller, denser trails as it grows. Combine that richer golden foliage with deep greens or rich purples and you’ll get a striking contrast that makes the yellow tones shine even more.
How to Water
Water Loosestrife deeply once the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, ensuring moisture reaches the full root zone rather than just the surface. During warm spells, check the compost regularly so the plant stays evenly moist while its trailing growth develops.
How to Plant
Plant Lysimachia into fresh, well‑drained compost, setting each plant at the same depth it was growing previously and firming the soil gently around the roots. Space each plant about 20-25cm apart to give the trailing stems room to spread and create a full, flowing display as they establish.
