Product description
Also known as Creeping Jenny, Lysimachia Aurea is an incredibly tough, fully hardy running plant that produces long, aggressive chains of bright yellow-green foliage. It possesses specialised stems that will actively root wherever they touch damp dirt, allowing it to weave rapidly through a container. Unlike almost everything else in a summer basket, it will happily survive freezing snow and ice to push out fresh growth the following spring.
This striking, golden foliage trailer actively despises drying out and needs a heavily saturated environment to maintain its bright colouration. Keep its compost firmly in the 'damp' category, watering the basket frequently so the soil remains consistently wet throughout the hottest parts of the year. If subjected to dry soil and harsh afternoon sun, the leaves will quickly bleach white and burn to a crisp.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
To protect the striking leaf colours, you must carefully manage its light exposure. Hang the container in a heavily shaded spot that avoids intense, direct afternoon sunlight. This protective placement prevents the delicate leaves of your Lysimachia Aurea from suffering severe scorch marks.
How to Water
This aggressive spreader is incredibly thirsty and will wilt rapidly if neglected. You need to keep the compost consistently wet, treating it almost like a bog plant. Providing constant moisture ensures your Lysimachia Aurea never loses its vivid, bright foliage.
How to Plant
Position the root ball tight against the lip of the container so the stems are already facing downward. Gently pack a rich loam compost around the base to secure it in place. Planting your Lysimachia Aurea on the perimeter lets its aggressive creeping vines instantly trail over the sides.
