The Schefflera Arboricola, or dwarf umbrella tree, is a fabulously elegant and easy-going miniature indoor tree. It produces clusters of solid, glossy dark green leaflets that radiate outward from a central stem, resembling the spokes of an umbrella.
Rotate this plant frequently in its partial sun location to ensure the glossy green canopy grows straight and evenly toward the light source. Plant it into a standard, well-draining houseplant mix and give it water biweekly, letting the top few inches of soil dry out significantly.
