The Iresine Herbstii ‘Bloodleaf’ is an exceptionally bright foliage plant that provides an incredible pop of colour. It features intensely saturated, crimson-red leaves highlighted by slightly lighter pink veining across the delicate, slightly translucent foliage.
If the plant begins to look faded and leggy, it needs more partial sun to maintain its vivid colour. Plant it in a standard, moisture-retentive indoor potting mix and water it weekly, as soon as the top inch of soil feels dry, to prevent severe wilting.
