The Echeveria ‘New Black’ is an absolutely gorgeous, dark-foliage succulent that adds immense drama to a sunny windowsill. It forms a tight rosette of glossy, deep burgundy to near-black leaves that look incredible when contrasted against a pale decorative pot.
This plant requires maximum direct sunlight to maintain its dark colouration, or it will stretch out and fade to green. Settle it into a coarse, sandy potting mix and water it strictly on a biweekly basis, waiting until the bottom of the soil feels totally dry.
