Product description
The Cordyline Fruticosa ‘Purple Compacta’ is a vibrantly coloured tropical plant featuring tightly packed, lance-shaped leaves. Its deep plum purple and dark reddish-green foliage provides a wonderful, rich contrast to typical green houseplants.
To keep the deep purple colours vibrant, ensure it receives plenty of partial sun throughout the day. Repot it into a rich, well-draining indoor potting mix containing plenty of perlite, and water it weekly when the top two inches of soil feel dry.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
House Plant Size Guide

House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.
