Product description
The Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens, commonly known as the Areca Palm, is a lush and highly popular indoor tree. It produces multiple smooth, golden trunks topped with arching, bright yellowish-green fronds that act as an excellent natural air purifier.
It requires a very bright spot with filtered, partial sun to grow into a large, healthy palm. Plant it strictly in a fast-draining palm and citrus soil mix to protect its roots, and water it on a weekly schedule to keep the soil lightly moist.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
House Plant Size Guide

House plants come in a wide array of shapes and sizes depending on the variety and maturity of the plant.
6cm/12cm/15cm/19cm/23cm nursery pots are the most common size of pot that they are sold in. This measurement is the diameter at the top of the pot.
12cm potted plants are the most popular providing great value for money and an instant impact. Larger plants that come in pots of 20cm+ are great for making a statement in any room and can represent years of growth to get to that level of maturity and size.
