Product description
The Alocasia Macrorrhizos ‘Melo’ is a remarkable jewel alocasia known for its thick, heavily corrugated leaves. The deep jade to grey-green foliage is so deeply textured that it is frequently compared to the look and feel of rough rhinoceros skin.
This plant thrives in partial sun and requires a warm, humid environment, making it an excellent candidate for a pebble tray or humidifier. Plant it in a fast-draining soil blend and allow the medium to dry out moderately between weekly waterings to protect its thick roots from rot.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
