Our GardenersDream plant pot cover provides a stylish look and feel to your patio trees, perfect for placing anywhere around the garden/patio. Ideal for pot sizes up to 20cm, this quality cover is made from 100% recyclable plastic and offers long lasting durability against wear and tear.
Simply fit the standard pot containing the plant into the cover, eliminating the need for more potting compost. This covering is also watertight so no need to worry about water spilling out.
Myrtus Tarentina, also known as 'Tarentum myrtle' are hardy ornamental trees which produce leathery leaves with vibrant bursts of pink and white flowers accompanied by fleshy berries during flourishing. Trained into a ‘lollipop’ single stem, these Myrtus trees are perfect to situate in small gardens, patios or mixed borders.
Tarentina lollipop trees can reach an optimum height and spread of around 130cm. Be sure to plant in fertile, well-drained clay, chalk or sandy soil and position in a sheltered, full sun location to give them the best opportunity to thrive.
Once established, most evergreen patio trees will become fairly low maintenance and need minimal pruning. When pruning is required, this should be carried out during mid-late Springtime (after flowering). This will encourage fresh, variegated growth for the following season. Myrtus trees will require average watering after settled into their new environment.
Tarentum myrtle' trees are valued all year round for their stunning display of colours. Emerging in Spring with maturing shades of green before entering their flourishing season during Summer where pink & white colours take over the tree - this gives it a fresh and vibrant look, making them very pleasing on the eye. As the second half of the year hits, the tree will keep its strong green colours, due to being evergreen - which will be accompanied by the small white berries.
The Myrtus Communis Tarentina is a beautiful evergreen hardy ornamental tree that has a dark green foliage that will flower dense pink buds that blossom into creamy white flowers during flourishing. Your garden will liven up due to the beautiful burst of colours that contrast with the dark green foliage of the tree. The flowers give off an intriguing sent for bees, butterflies and other pollinating wildlife.
Tarentina Trees are a low maintenance, easy to care for specimen which thrive in moist, well-drained soils such as clay, chalk & sand. Make sure to situate these trees in partial shade or full sun locations in your garden. Water regularly until established, then just occasionally to keep them healthy
