Simply fit the standard pot containing the plant into the cover, eliminating the need for more potting compost. This covering is also watertight so no need to worry about water spilling out.
Characteristics: The Codiaeum Sunny Star, more commonly known as the Sunny Star Croton, is a plant that can be easily kept indoors, whether that is amongst a plant display or as a lone plant. Its foliage is made up of some gorgeous, variegated dark green and yellow colouring, with the leaf shapes deviating from upright and narrow to a more widespread formation. Sunny Star is also air-purifying, meaning it will remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air around it.
Plant Advice: In caring for the plant, you must ensure that it is placed in an area with bright, indirect light being a regular feature. When watering, make sure the soil is moist, but never soggy. As temperatures rise at different periods in the year, water the plant more regularly, in line with the rise and fall of warmer weather. It is also recommended to mist the plant so humidity levels stay consistent.

Codiaeum Sunny Star is a plant with variegated foliage of both dark green and yellow colouring. This colour is very distinct and striking, making it very eye-catching for neighbours, visitors or passers-by. The leaves form in various different fashions - some in a more upright and narrow form, with others being more widespread and lobed. You will benefit from this plant through its air-purifying qualities - the plant will remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air, benefitting all that lives around it. Situating the plant in clear sight on bright, indirect light is acceptable, whilst ensuring that you water the plant so the soil is moist on most occasions. You could also mist the plant every so often to heighten humidity levels.
