Hypoestes Phyllostachya Red is a colourful, bushy, baby houseplant which is also known as the Polka Dot Plant. It gets this name from its brightly patterned leaves which have a crimson red base covered in dark green spots and veining, creating a polka dot effect.
Place your Polka Dot Plant in bright, indirect light. It will require regular watering throughout the summer months, and less frequent water during the winter months. It will also benefit from a regular misting or being placed in a humid room such as the bathroom or kitchen every so often.
